DIRECTIONS

  

A) Coming from Southern or Northern New Jersey Area by Garden State Parkway:

 1)      Take Garden State Parkway North or South to Exit 145, Highway I-280 (Oranges and Newark)

2)      After Paying Toll follow sign for I-280 West towards Oranges

3)      Take Exit 8A (Prospect Avenue – West Orange, AKA County Route 577 South/West)

4)      Pass three lights and at the 4^th traffic light at T-Intersection make a right turn onto Northfield Avenue (County Route 508 South/West) (Watch out- no turn on red  at this light)

5)      Pass one light (Ridge Way Avenue) and at the second traffic light make left turn onto Walker Road

6)      Go about ¼ mile and make first right turn into Turtle Back Rock Park Entrance

 

B) Coming from Northern or Southern New Jersey Area by New Jersey Turnpike:

 1)      Take New Jersey Turnpike South or North to Exit 15W (I-280)

2)      After Paying Toll take I-280 west towards Oranges

3)      Stay on left so that you do not get on GS Parkway

 Follow Direction number 3 to 6 from above direction “A”

 C) Coming from Western New Jersey (Parsippany Area) by Route 46, I-80, I-287 or I-280:

 

1)      Take I – 80 East to I-280 East

2)      Take Exit 7 (Pleasant Valley Way)

3)      At the end of the ramp at traffic light make left on to Pleasant Valley Way (County Route 636 South/West)

4)      Pass one (2) light and at 3^rd light make left turn on to Northfield Road (County Route 508 North/East - there is approximately 1.5 miles between 2^nd and 3^rd light)

5)      Pass three traffic lights and at the fourth traffic light make a right turn onto Walker Road

6)      Go about ¼ mile and make first right turn into Turtle Back Rock Park Entrance

 

D) Coming from Eastern New Jersey (Lincoln Tunnel) by Route 3:

 1)      Take Route 3 West to Garden State Parkway South to Exit 145, Highway I-280 (Oranges & Newark)

 

Follow Direction number 2 to 6 from above direction “A”

 E) Coming by local roads from Wayne, Little falls, Cedar Grove area:

 

1)       Take Route 23 south, pass Bloomfield Ave and Rt. 23 will become Prospect Ave. 

2)       Continue on Prospect Ave (you will pass Staples, Rt. 280, and Essex Green Mall).

3)       At the end of the road on T-Intersection make a right turn onto Northfield Avenue (County Route 508 South/West) (Watch out- no turn on red  at this light)

4)       Pass one light (Ridge Way Avenue) and at the second traffic light make left turn onto Walker Road

5)       Go about ¼ mile and make first right turn into Turtle Back Rock Park Entrance
